Description
The TER Vayu Series Anemometer is reliable, sturdy and a precise wind speed sensor used to measure wind and it’s direction. Designed for a wide range of industrial applications.
FEATURES
- They consist of a rotor featuring a removable hat for the mechanical fixing of impact resistant nylon cups: rotating on ball bearings, they activate a cogwheel which by means of an optical transducer (photodiode), generates 12 pulses/revolution frequency signal.
- For measuring a maximum speed of 200 km/h which is equivalent to 55 meters per second. They are also suitable to be adjusted for lower ful scale.
- IP66 protection
- Extreme temperature resistance: From -20°C to +85°C, from -40°C to +85°C (versions with heater).
- All materials and components used are wear resistant and guarantees protection of the unit against water and dust: The body of the rotor is made of anodised aluminium or electropolished stainless steel AISI 316, the head rotates on double ball bearings and the cups (ø30mm) are made of impact resistant nylon, protected against UV rays, low-temperature (max. -40ºC) and hail. It is easily interchangeable.
TER has acquired decades of experience in designing and manufacturing control stations, providing now four series of pendant control stations or wall-mounted control stations, for auxiliary and direct control, used to command and control industrial machinery. control stations are used in particular in industrial and construction lifting plants to control gantry cranes, track cranes, jib cranes, wall-mounted jib cranes, tower cranes and winches for construction sites; in the automation industry to command and control systems to manage machines and processes, thus reducing the need for human intervention; in stage technology to control the equipment used to move stage sets, curtains etc.; in the waste disposal industry to control the movement of machines and equipment.
TER range of control stations includes three series of pushbutton stations for auxiliary control (two pendant control stations and one wall-mounted control station) and one series of pushbutton stations foe direct control, with 1 to 15 actuators depending on the unit requested.
Each project has been developed on the basis of specifications such as technicism, anthropomorphism, futurism and ergonomics to give the control stations an innovative design, where each graphic element is linked to a specific technical function. Dimensions and shapes are the result of careful analysis of the product ergonomic aspects, aimed at achieving a graphic style that blends in with modern industrial environments, making TER control stations extremely handy, user friendly and easy to integrate in the machine. Compact dimensions and antislip grooves on the cases make it easy to handle the control stations under any working conditions.
Each series of control stations has specific features which drastically reduce time and costs for installation and maintenance down time.
TER’s aim is to simplify the control of the machines equipped with its devices, designing reliable, ergonomic and intuitive safety products, capable of predicting the demands of the market and becoming the industry benchmark.
At the basis of this company mission is the will to establish a connection between market and company, by giving an increasingly central role to the sales department, seen as a continuous relationship between TER and its customers.
