This economical ignition module is designed for engines from 1 to 6 cylinders – up to 800 in(13 L) total displacement which will benefit from the latest in inductive ignition technology.  Inductive technology allows for adjustable continuous spark duration – up to 1,500 microseconds on rich-burn, lean-burn, naturally aspirated or turbocharged versions. Fuel types such as natural gas, propane, LPG, landfill, digester and other biogas fuels are also compatible.

Programme adjustments to optimise engine performance are easy with the Windows® based software.

The GT 6 uses a single inductive pickup for timing input, which can be the Gill timing disc and standard pickup, existing OEM cam disc, A5 conversion kit or a drilled flywheel pattern for wasted spark firing.

Gill ignition modules are designed to control naturally aspirated, turbo-charged and lean-burn engines operating on LPG, natural gas and biogas. Both the GS and GT versions are designed with the latest inductive ignition technology to provide a powerful spark with long duration, enabling complete combustion of low calorific value fuels as well as lean air/fuel mixtures.

They have been specifically designed for the stationary gas engine market, however the modules are also currently used in a wide variety of portable and industrial vehicle applications.

Gill Engine Controls combines the MaxiSpark Ignition System with the Zerodrift Air/Fuel Ratio Control System, designed to increase efficiency and reduce emissions of industrial gas engines. All components within Engine Controls have been designed to work in harmony, ensuring the complete engine control system is as efficient as possible.
