Description
The 6226-0087 Electrosurgical Footswitch has 2 pedals and is specially designed for electrosurgical applications. Herga Technology can offer a range of General Purpose Footswitches, including our light duty footswitch – which is well suited to OEM applications, and our general purpose footswitch – which has a steel construction for long life and reliability.
The two pedals are different colours and are labelled with “CUT” (Yellow) and “COAG” (Blue). It has medical approval EN60601-1 and is IPX7 protected.
The pedals are mounted on a base and separated with a stainless steel bar. The base also has a carry handle for easy handling and transport which is also constructed of stainless steel.
Other 6226-0087 features include:
- Complete with 3 meters of cable with free wire ends, exit on the left side
- Steel divider bar in centre and steel handle to rear
- Sealed to IPX7
- Electrical rating : 1.75A 24V DC
- Complies with UL/IEC 60601-1
Footswitches, also known as foot pedals, are available in different shapes and sizes many with customisable options. Herga footswitches are used for applications in many industries including; Medical, Industrial Machinery and Custom Solutions.
In the majority of instances, these footswitches is selected for use because it allows the operator to multi task. Using this means that the user has both hands free to be able to complete work effectively. This is really useful in places such as a call centre, when workers are using a headset to speak on the phone, often a footswitch will be used to answer the phone so that the worker still has both hands free to operate a computer and/or make notes.
