The Herga 6210-VO Electronic Foot Potentiometer provides a variable voltage output proportional to the position of the pedal. It utilises a solid state optical sensor with no moving parts or tracks which can wear out. The 6210-VO Electronic Foot Potentiometer is ideal for repetitive use with office equipment, domestic/medical appliances and general industrial applications. It is a low cost foot potentiometer and is also available in customer colours and logos on request.

Using this means that the user has both hands free to be able to complete work effectively. This is really useful in places such as a call centre, when workers are using a headset to speak on the phone, often a footswitch will be used to answer the phone so that the worker still has both hands free to operate a computer and/or make notes.
